Hello, I'm Skye Van Heyzen,
the founder of Adaptive Apex.
My journey has taken me from scientific academia to the boardroom, from technical seed trials to leading teams through strategic transformation. Along the way, I’ve worked across sectors Agriculture, AgTech, Biotech, and business consultancy - navigating the tension between complex strategy and human behaviour.
That’s what led me here. I’ve seen brilliant leaders, modern professionals and teams unravel.
Not from lack of talent, but from a lack of clarity in how they communicate, align, and lead.
Today, I bring all of those threads together to help professionals like you cut through the noise, connect with what matters, and create momentum that lasts.

Lessons From the Field (and the Boardroom)
I bring over 14 years of experience across sectors including Agriculture, AgTech, Biotech, manufacturing, and professional services - blending deep commercial strategy with people-centred leadership.
I hold an MBA, certifications in life coaching and NLP, and have worked across borders and cultures to support leaders in complex, changing environments.
What sets my approach apart is a mix of emotional intelligence, practical frameworks, and the ability to really understand the person behind the performance - helping them lead more effectively without losing themselves along the way.
